Scammers posing as government & banks offering to reclaim overcharged bank fees
Treasury has received a number of phone calls from concerned members of the public who have been contacted by scammers, posing as Treasury officials.
In most instances, scammers claimed to be from the Treasury Reclamations Section and that, for a processing fee, they could assist in recovering overpaid bank fees.
