The Government announced reforms to the fringe benefits tax (FBT) treatment of living-away-from-home benefits in the Mid-year Economic and Fiscal Update, and in the 2012-13 Budget.
In line with the Government’s announcements, the Hon David Bradbury MP, Assistant Treasurer and Minister Assisting for Deregulation, has released an exposure draft of the legislation for public consultation.
Please note that this consultation is separate to the consultation paper "Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) Reform living-away-from-home benefits" from November 2011.
