Abstract: |
On 18 May 2004, the Hon Margaret Wilson, New Zealand Minister for Commerce, and the Hon Ross Cameron MP, Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasurer, released a discussion paper relating to the establishment of a trans-Tasman mutual recognition arrangement governing offers of securities and managed investment scheme interests for public consultation until 16 July 2004. The Treasury and the New Zealand Ministry of Economic Development have received a total of 28 submissions on the discussion paper from Australian and New Zealand respondents. They are being made publicly available on the Treasury and Ministry of Economic Development web sites. Late submissions will be added if the authors do not ask that they be treated as confidential. |
