Abstract: |
A package of Bills comprising the Corporations Legislation Amendment (Simpler Regulatory System) Bill 2007, and supporting Bills, the Corporations (Fees) Amendment Bill 2007 and the Corporations (Review Fees) Amendment Bill 2007 were introduced into the House of Representatives by the Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasurer on 24 May 2007.
The package implements proposals in the Corporate and Financial Services Review Proposals Paper, and a number of recommendations regarding corporate and financial services regulation of the Rethinking Regulation report of the Taskforce on Reducing the Regulatory Burden on Business.
