Abstract:	On 13 May 2008, the Treasurer, the Hon Wayne Swan MP, and the Assistant Treasurer and Minister for Competition and Consumer Policy, the Hon Chris Bowen MP, jointly released draft regulations and an accompanying explanatory statement concerning charging for valuations or reviews of valuations obtained as part of a private ruling. Interested parties are invited to comment on the proposed regulations or the explanatory statement. Submissions can be sent electronically, by post or facsimile. Submission closing date: 11 June 2008.
