Abstract: |
The Corporations Agreement 2002, between the Commonwealth, the States and the Northern Territory, provides the political underpinning of the current legislative scheme for the regulation of companies, takeovers, fundraising and the financial services industry. The agreement was amended in 2005 to make the Australian Capital Territory a party to the agreement and a member of the Ministerial Council for Corporations. |
