Enterprise Data Strategy

The Enterprise Data Strategy 2023-2025 (EDS) is Treasury’s first data strategy.

It sets a vision and direction for investment in data capability, governance and use across the department.

The EDS was developed following consultation across Treasury during 2023.

Themes

The EDS sets out a 2-year action plan around 4 major themes:

1. data governance and leadership
2. data capability
3. data analytics and visualisation
4. data access and acquisition.
